Could never get the wi-fi to work. Desk clerk would not come to the room for help. The hotel charged me $20.00 more for the third night than what was in your pricing.
The bed was ver good.
The staff qwas very nice.let us check in early..the room was everything I could ask for in a room
Really lovely hotel with every amenity needed.
Absolutely nothing!!!!!! See this and run!!!!!
This "motel", not HOTEL...had a 4 star rating on the internet. A complete and total misrepresentation. I wouldn't even give this one star. It was completely disgusting! It was wet and moldy and stinky, and the metal fixtures were rusted. The carpet was spongy and dirty and the walls were as well. The patronage was that of hookers and dope dealers. We had young children traveling with us and were concerned for their safety. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone! The staff was even unpleasant and made no apologies or gave any help. When we went to the office and asked for blankets, they said they had none and looked at us like we'd lost our minds. Terrible place!!!! See it and run!
Friendly staff & clean room except for musty smell.
Room had musty smell. Telephone did not work. Had to pay for ice.
That it was/is on the strip which was convenient to eateries and the beaches to Destin/Ft. Walton. I was here participating in a bowling tournament (Emerald Classic). I was able to walk right next door to the Pizza Hut.
When I arrived last Friday and getting the room I went into the bathroom and found "live" bugs in the bath tub and it had a foul smell. Someone prior to me had been smoking as well. On Saturday after coming in from the beach I only had 1 wash cloth and 1 bath towel. I was compensated for three towels and three wash cloths which turned out to be ok. Also, why is it that the guest have to spend $.25 for ice? I didn't understand that! I've stayed in hotels/motels that was less expensive, a lot nicer, and didn't have to spend 25 cents for some ice! I spent $286.00 for a two night stay and I think I should have been charged for half of that. I would recommend for location purposes but I wasn't impressed for the price for my stay.
The location of the hotel wasn't as expected. For the price that I paid for my two night stay at the inn, I could've have easily went to a more upscale hotel. I also added an additional night to my stay which didn't really match the price that I got for a two night stay.
Great value at $79, given the quality of the room (compares well with "brand name" hotel chains, at the height of tourist season in Fort Walton Beach when most comparable rooms are over $100 a day.
Very good location.
Management was very rude and not helpful at all.
You ger what you pay for, so don't be shocked.
1) No true high speed internet, only wifi, 2) ice machine cost $0.25-really., 3) the breakfast--wow, better off bringing my own loaf of bread and day old coffee. The breakfast there was a joke. It's a motel-not a hotel for the record.
The rooms were large. Had enough space.
I thought it was the Fairfield not Fairway.
After a run in with a pedifile in the room next door, the manager had no problem moving us to another room on the opposite side.
Outside entrance with gap under doorway. Wall unit sir conditioning. Hard to regulate temperature. Saggy mattress. Pulled sheets. Outdated decor. No Hbo. Poor front desk service. Asked to turn off old msg light in room several times and never done. Only stay here if desperate or looking to split cheap room 4 ways with party friends looking for crash room only.
The location was very good, pool was always refreshing to get into, always had the whole pool to myself during the days ; ) the lady at the front was very-very nice!
Needs some updating and fresh paint. Couldn't sleep early am's as the housekeepers kept pushing their carts back & forth (quite noisey & disturbing). They only put 2 towels,2 hand towels & 2 washcloths in rms daily (towels weren't the thickest. 2 baby cockroaches on night table, & the refridgerator kept freezing up our drinks. Although there was information sheets about the area in the front office,it would've been nice to have those in your rooms to look at.
